Member of National Assembly of Kenya Mr. Caleb Amisi on Tuesday April 7, 2020 shared the test results from his Coronavirus test with Lancet Kenya. The results shows that the MP tested negative for the virus that cause COVID-19 pandemic that has plague the world since the start of 2020.
Mr. Amisi shared the results on twitter and encouraged fellow Kenyans to go and get tested and if found positive to inform the ministry of health promptly to avoid the spread of the dreaded pandemic. As of April 9, 2020. there has been 5588 people tested in Kenyan of which 184 people have tested positive for Covid-19 with 7 deaths. At least 12 covid-19 victims have made a full recovery. Covid-19 has infected more than 1.5 million people worldwide of which 85,000 have died so far.
Caleb Amisi is the member of parliament for the national assembly for Saboti Constituency in Trans-Nzoia County. He was first elected in 2013 under the Kenya National Congress Party and was re-elected in 2017 under the umbrella of the Orange Democratic Party (ODM) ticket.
